Buddhist Streets of San Francisco

Recently in the New York Times Travel section was this article that reviewed several Buddhist centers and other places of historical importance in San Francisco. If you have not already read it, they lightly touch on some of the history of Buddhism in San Francisco, where San Francisco Zen Center and Shunryu Suzuki Roshi figure prominently. The photo included with this post is the SFZC courtyard where Lou Hartman, resident poet and priest, is pictured.
