Jazz Mindfulness Program Spring Concert
On Fri, June 4th at 7:30PM, The Jazz Mindfulness Program will present its Annual Spring Concert featuring the JMP students ages 12 – 17. This concert will feature the music of Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Horace Silver, as well as free improvisations in duo and trio formats. This concert will conclude the JMP’s very successful first year where students receive jazz and meditation instruction together.
Please join us as we celebrate creativity, community and America’s indigenous democratic art form, Jazz.
There is a suggested donation of $10 for this concert.
The Jazz Mindfulness Program is directed by Adam Bernstein and is sponsored by the Brooklyn Zen Center.
