Brooklyn Zen Center
Curious about meditation and Zen, or just interested in doing something different on a Saturday night? Then join us for the first ever BZC May Awakening!
Brooklyn Zen Center is a spirited urban refuge that teaches the Zen Buddhist tradition in a modern, relevant way that ignites action both outside and within.
Our goal is to make Zen and the practice of mindfulness accessible to everyone. We want all to feel welcome and have the chance to experience the magic of these ancient teachings.
There will be music, Zen-inspired cuisine by The Pines, tasty pies by Four & Twenty Blackbirds, and a silent auction of artwork created by our Awake Youth Project teens. The Awake Youth Project is our teen meditation program that has served 800 youth from underresourced communities since 2010.
Bring your friends and learn all about our offerings.
