Location: Christ Church Cobble Hill, located at 326 Clinton Street, Brooklyn (enter by the Clinton Street driveway gate, pass the scaffolding, and through the double doors)

All those invested in the present and future of BZC are encouraged to attend this Sangha Meeting. This is a beautiful opportunity for us to reflect on how we build socially engaged Soto Zen in America by caring for the temple, teachers, and sangha. Dharma Teachers Sarah Dōjin Emerson and Charlie Korin Pokorny, along with BZC’s Administrative Director, Ryan Lee Wong, will offer reflections on:

  • Membership and Stewardship
  • A Culture of Dana
  • Caring for a Tradition and Temple
  • Equity and Social Engagement

Please note that we are currently at Covid risk level YELLOW (moderate risk): for all in-person offerings, we ask participants to be fully vaccinated and boosted; masks are required indoors at all times. Please see the BZC Covid Protocol for additional information.


Access Notes: We are in an historical building which is not wheelchair accessible. There are two flights of stairs leading to the center, located on the second floor.
