Rolling Retreat for Racial Justice

Join us on the Rolling Retreat for Racial Justice to Washington, D.C., on September 30th.

The Rolling Retreat will include BZC co-founder and senior dharma teacher Greg Snyder, BZC visiting teacher Rev. angel Kyodo williams and other teachers.

The march, which is an initiative of Compassion NYC and the Buddhist Global Relief, will bring attention to the injustices around policing, racism in the criminal justice system, separate and unequal education, economic and political disenfranchisement, redlining, and gerrymandering, and will bring us together against all forms of victimization and dehumanization perpetuated by white supremacy and racism. The march also calls on us to speak out against attacks on civil rights protections for those in the LGBTQ community, the normalization of rape culture, misogyny and unequal pay for equal work, continued theft and desecration of Native lands, environmental exploitation, the results of which greatly affect communities of color.  We march against all forms of victimization and dehumanization perpetuated by white supremacy and racism.

Tickets are available on a sliding scale and early registration is strongly encouraged.
