Our annual New Year’s Eve sit returns to Boundless Mind Temple, our Brooklyn location. This is a meaningful alternative to traditional New Year’s celebrations—no crowds, no alcohol, just presence, community, and intentional ritual to welcome the new year. All experience levels welcome — no meditation experience necessary
08:45 PM — Doors open / set up
09:00 PM — Soji (temple cleaning)
09:20 PM — Zazen (seated meditation)
09:50 PM — Kinhin (walking meditation)
10:00 PM — Fire Buddha Ritual / Burning Hindrances
10:30 PM — Tea/ Warm Cider / Snacks
11:00 PM — Zazen
11:25 PM — Kinhin
11:35 PM — Zazen with 108 bells
12:05 AM — Closing
Meditation cushions are provided. Wear comfortable clothing suitable for sitting meditation. No special equipment or experience needed.
Please note that registration is required for this event — no walk-ins will be allowed.

Boundless Mind Temple is located in the Parish House of Christ Church Cobble Hill, next to 326 Clinton Street. Enter the driveway on Clinton, go past the scaffolding, and through the double doors.
