February 24, 2024
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Join us for a special offering from visiting Qigong teacher and long-term friend of BZC Sally Chang. Qigong is an embodied art that manifests both Daoist and Zen principles in moving meditation.
Taiji Qigong Shibashi is a Qigong series based on Taiji Principles created by Lin Hou Sheng. No previous training is required and beginners are welcome! Sally will teach part two of the form, a gentle, fun, and energizing set of 18 movements (each part can be learned independently). We approach Qigong as meditation in motion, that develops calm confidence, strength, and agility in our body, mind, and spirit.
Physical expectations will include standing, moving up and down, shifting weight from one leg to the other, sitting, and raising arms above the head. Please let us know if you have any accessibility concerns or questions before registering. All participants can sit down or lie down at any time according to their needs and health conditions.
BZC Members are invited to register by dana (offering what you can). Non-members are invited to register at the listed rates. Registration closes February 22.
