Description

Undoing Patriarchy is a monthly group of Zen practitioners, conditioned as or identifying as men, exploring patriarchy’s effects on us and our communities, connecting to the sacred masculine and feminine, and repairing the damage patriarchy has done to everyone along the gender spectrum.

Undoing patriarchy will be meeting on the first Sunday of each month, at 9:30 AM ET on Zoom, starting February 1.

For security reasons, we do not post zoom links publicly. Please sign up to “This Week at BZC” mailing list to receive the log in information.

If you are interested in being on the organizing team, please contact Charlie Korin Pokorny at charlie@brooklynzen.org.

Dana

This event is offered freely in the spirit of making the dharma accessible to everyone who is seeking it, and in Dana Paramita – the practice of generosity.

As you consider your offering, we invite you into this practice: What arises in your body when someone is generous to you? When you give wholeheartedly to another? How is it to be in reciprocal generosity with these teachings? The teachings you’ve received will continue to unfold over time – can you meet that unfolding by stretching a little further in your generosity?

Dana for the teacher: Dana for the teacher is welcomed and supports their continued teaching. Dana Teacher link

Dana for BZC: Your donation sustains our offerings, keeps these teachings accessible to all, and supports our teachers by providing the organizational backbone that makes their teaching possible. Dana Link.
