The whole point of Buddhist practice is so we can help people. That’s the whole point. We clean up our mess a little bit, open up our heart, and then we can extend our hand out into the world that is utterly insane. And we can go into the world without needing to dominate because we understand that we’re not separate and that everyone is suffering. This is the wellspring of joy.
