Wednesday Dharma Share (In-Person | 7–8:30 PM ET)

Wednesday evenings provide a chance for the Sangha to gather in person for a more informal, interactive setting and explore our lives of Zen practice. We begin with 15 minutes of zazen (seated meditation), followed by both small and large group discussions facilitated by Dharma Teachers, senior students, and occasional guest speakers.

Bring clothes and screen print your own BZC merch with us. We'll have BZC designs including our latest "I ❤️ Zen" graphic ready to print. No experience necessary! This is one of the creative, hands-on ways we're raising funds to support BZC — and we'd love for you to be part of it. Doors open at 10:30 AM.

White and Awakening Monthly Sangha (Second Sundays)

The White and Awakening Monthly Sangha will meet on the second Sunday of each month from 1:30–3:00 PM ET beginning January 11, 2026.  This group is a joint offering of East Bay Meditation Center and Brooklyn Zen Center and facilitated by Crystal Johnson, Sarah Dōjin Emerson, Heather Lear, and Kitsy Schoen.
